Janet L. Ray was born October 29, 1953 in Yakima, WA, and passed away June 13, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Allen Ray, her daughter Jenelle (Jimmy) Avent and son Jeremy (Ratchanee) Ray, 5 grandchildren, and her brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by her mother, father, a brother, and a sister. There will be a memorial service at First Christian Church, 432 Wood Ave., Sumner, WA, on June 28 at 2 p.m. with a potluck reception following.
