Janet Mae Strader

Janet Mae Strader, 82, of Orting, WA died on Wednesday, March 19th after a long battle with cancer. She was born on January 10th 1932 in Silva North Dakota to Conrad Vernon and Amanda Bertine Sanden. Janet was a long time resident of Orting and active in the local community. Her favorite passtime was spent with her friends at the local Senior Center where she once held a position as board member and spending time with her family. She liked art, taking computer classes, gardening and playing bingo. Janet was loved by many and will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by two of her seven children, Gregory Lee Strader of Cottage Grove, OR. and Deborah Sue Brenia of Gig Harbor, WA. She is survived by daughters Pamela Mertens of Spanaway WA., Rebecca Strader of Cottage Grove OR. and Laura Carter of Lake Tapps, WA. as well as two sons Keith Strader of Puyallup, WA and Kevin Strader of Cottage Grove OR.
