I would ask how thing are going but welllll you know.  
Things are going ok Austin  got a job working for the school  district  so he has insurance,  medical , dental , vision an retirement.  So it's an excellent opportunity. 
Nick is doing great also he just started  his own business mobile diesel  repair and is constantly  busy I know that's good as a business owner  but I worry he doesn't  take time off. He's very business  minded an loves his job.
Adam met a new lady friend an we all went camping  she seems like a very nice gal. He is still driving  semi but not as far away as before, Washington and  Oregon pretty much. So he's home on weekends  for Katie. Anyway that's what's been going on .
I talked to Lynn this summer she's been camping w Gale an mory a lot. 
Anyway got a question I know I made a promise to you the first part of August before you left us my question is how long do I try before I just say I can't do it ?  You know what I'm talking about so anyway I will drop it for now. Kyli is registered for  school and hoping for a great year of making new friends.

Yesterday was  your Birthday I woke up not doing the best an the day just got worse .. I miss you so much it hurts . Oh I know people  say it can't hurt that bad or it will get better with time. But I do hurt and it's  not getting  any  better so far . Maybe I'm just not normal lol. 
I tried to  do things today like plant some of my squash plants an zucchini  , I made sure to plant them in different  area's  so I don't have green squash  an yellow  zucchini.. It's  been awhile since I  wrote  to you , my crappy  phone  wouldn't  get the internet. But we just switched carriers so we seem to get good service  now . We moved to stanwood the end of January  . Kyli still goes to her middle school  up north so she can keep her college class , stanwood  doesn't offer it until  high school  . So next year she will go down here.  We have two cats now one is mostly white  with tabby spots, the other is like Bucky just not as fat lol.
They keep me on my toes let me tell ya 
..I  try to stay pin touch with Lynn she is going on a vacation with Gale an her husband I think . I'm still trying to  cope with losing  you..  I miss you terribly  an wish you hadn't been  taken so soon , ya I know how old you are but still wanted to keep you around  for awhile more. Hi dad ,it's been awhile cause every time I try to write I cry today is no different . Kyli was having some back pain so I took her to her pediatrician and we immediately had to go for a full spine x Ray . That was Fri on the x Ray then Tuesday back to the Dr to be told she has moderate to severe scoliosis and possiblyof back ssurgery we are being referred to Seattle children's hospital ,it never seems to end I wish I could talk to you about this. I know we all need to learn life lessons but I wish it wasn't my kids that have to go through this carp, so if you can please watch over her she is pretty upset about this whole thing. I been trying to keep in touch with Lynn . I miss you so much dad ... I love you with all my heart.

Its 4:30 in the morning and I'm  up sick with sinus an chest crap sore throat an all. I can't  remember the last time my throat hurt this bad
Its snowing here yoou pronly know that its pretty to watch but aussie has to go to work in it so I worry about that but he is a good driver and can take his truck if need be. We went to kylis x mas program last nite she did really good it was about 30 whole degrees out that probably didn't  help being sick but what do ya do I had to go. The snow is little tiny flakes like we had on chritmas at your House  last year, so maybe we wont get much .we finally goot a christmas tree last night, austin decided it was time. To me this has been the worst year ever ..Missing you is a daily struggle I know I will get thru the holidays but dang its hard.

I spent most of my day having coffee w my girlfriend jen.  I know you would like her she is just like us somtimes we think we shoul  be sisters because we are so much alike and she lost her dad 4 years ago, so she can relate to what i been going thru. I look outside an see my truck an cannot bring myself to do anything w it dont even want to drive it,maybe after  the holiday. It was this time last year that we sctambled to get it ready to come down to see you for thanksgiving and tomarow a year ago i found out the calipers were bad so i had to go get brand new ones so frank and aussie could put them on, boy was it cold that night. But we gotrr done and made the trip. So anyway oneday at a time dad one day at a time thats about all i can do I miss you so much it hurts my heart  but I know what you would say and Im truly trying. I finaly got my internet back on a home we all lost it on our phones for about two weeks. Now I can sit in my own home and use it not at franks work in a cold truck. Been trying to get things here done and get myself healthy again, been trying to eat small meals and not get a fourth blood clot, ya i got another one this one in my wrist stress has a way of messing w,me i guess so  as you would tell me ... well can't write that or they would deny this message but i know what you would say and im trying to do it. It's so hard to have you gone I miss you more each day and the holidays will never be the same...well maybe if we have spagetti for christmas dinner but you still wont be there. I MISS YOU MORE AS TIME PASSES.  I THOUGHT IT WOULD GET EASIER, BUT IT DOESN'T. ITS LONELY DOING THINGS WITHOUT YOU.I THINK OF YOU WHEN I LISTEN TO THE MORNING NEWS.  I CAN AMOST HEAR WHAT YOU THINK OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD.I KEEP BUSY DOING LITTLE THINGS. YESTERDAY I TOOK THE DOG TO GET HER TEETH CLEANED.  SUNDAY I GOT A CHANCE TO VISIT WITH JESSICA.  SHE IS VERY HAPPY WITH HER NEW BABY GIRL.  TALKED TO VAL.  SHE IS IN A NEW SHOP.  HAD BREAKFAST WITH BOB AND LINDA.  THEY ARE DOING GREAT.  WAYNE CALLS ON SUNDAYS AND WE TALK ABOUT THE SEAHAWKS.  I FINALLY GAVE JULIE FROM DR BLAUS OFFICE A CALL.  YOU LEFT A STICKY NOTE TO CALL HER.  SHE HAD A MILD STROKE, BUT IS ALMOST BACK TO NORMAL.  HASN'T FOUND A JOB YET. LIFE IS PLAYING FORWARD, BUT WE ALL MISS YOU VERY MUCH.HOPE YOU FEEL OUR LOVE

Its November now and the kids are waiting  fo the snow. I miss you so much with each passing day.  I am trying to get things done 1day at a time  and think of you and some of the things you would say about the kids woild wish for snow..

I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU MORE EVERY DAY.  I FIND MYSELF TALKING TO YOU ALL THE TIME. I HOPE YOU HEAR ME. I LONG TO SHARE THE DAYS EVENTS WITH YOU. THE HOUSE IS SO QUIET WITHOUT YOU IN IT.  LIFE KEEPS PULLING ME FORWARD WETHER I AM READY OR NOT.  JANA AND ADAM HAD TO FIND A NEW HOME FOR THEIR DOG.  SHE IS A POMERANIAN.  THEY NAMED HER CHICA.  ANYWAY THEY THOUGHT SHE MIGHT BE COMPANY FOR ME.  TOLD THEM I WASN'T SURE I WANTED THE RESPONSIBILITY BUT AGREED TO GIVE IT A SHOT.  THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER OTIS. MET BARRY REID AT THE SUMNER STARBUCKS AND WE HAD COFFEE AND TALKED FINANCES.  HE AND ROGERS ARE TAKING GOOD CARE OF ME. TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF THINGS THE WAY YOU WOULD WANT. ENOUGH FOR NOW.  WILL WRITE AGAIN SOON.

I sit in the recliner you gave me 11 years ago and think of all the fun times we had and know my memories will always keep you close but i cannot not cry dad my heart is hurting having you gone from me I know if you can you will watch over me and the kids an lynn,ILove you very much and miss you with all my heart..

Grandpa, it was fun but sad to help you through your last days bringing you your radio and get you your lunch or cooking you breakfest or dinner and making sure you had what you needed it was sad to get a phone call saying you past but you will always be in my heart and i will always love you. At least your out of pain and you can see. I know I will see you again one day.

welll on 9/11/2013 Kyli and I went with Lynn to put your  ashes in their nitch i guess they call it it  started out ok but it quikly turned into saying goodbye again...we all had lunch  together and  toasted you ..ILOVE YOU

Its been seven days.  I can't think of not being down there to help lynn take care of you or being able to call  you to talk politics, .. i tried to read the paper and couldn't do it because l knew i couldn't call and tell you about it.....
