Betty E. Sciotto

Betty E. Sciotto of Sun City, Arizona passed away peacefully among her family on August 13, 2014 at the age of 87. Originally from Berea, Ohio, she has been a long time resident of Arizona since 1956. Betty was employed as a secretary for several companies including IBM, Motorola and Sun Control. While not working, she was active in church, first with Epworth United Methodist and later Northwest Community church, both in Phoenix. In Betty's later years, she found great reward in volunteering with her husband Bruce for Meals on Wheels. She also loved playing board games and cards with her family and friends. Betty is survived by her children, Karen Cassidy, Dave Sciotto and Janet Skelton; cherished Grandmother to John, Trent, Adam, Josh, James, Clint, and Nick; and great grandmother to Michael Lake and Olivia Skelton. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bruce R. Sciotto on January 29, 2012. A visitation will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, August 16, 2014 followed by a funeral service at 10:00am in the Lakeside Chapel at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, Arizona.
