Beverly Jan Campbell

Jan was born on March 27th, 1962 in Lubbock, TX, the daughter of Dr. Charles R. and Norma F. Ward.

Jan graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1980. Jan married the love of her life, Bruce E. Campbell on June 3rd, 1983 in Artesia, New Mexico. They were blessed to spend 42 loving years together and together they raised 5 children. Bruce and Jan enjoyed dancing, music concerts, and spending time fishing and boating at the lake.

Jan worked in various secretarial and technological support positions over the years, such as U-Haul and Cox Communications. However, Jan preferred her favorite job of caring for her husband, children, and home.

Jan enjoyed learning new crafts, organization, music, reading romance novels, watching various crime shows, hosting parties, and raising dogs. She took great pride in training her dog ‘Zoie’ to become a therapy dog. In her final years, her dream of owning a toy Maltese purebred came true. ‘Stormie’, the cutest dog you will ever see, became Jan’s tiny pawed best friend.

Jan is survived by her mother Norma F. Ward of Albuquerque, NM; husband Bruce E. Campbell of Glendale, AZ; daughter, Cheryce ‘’CC’’ and Dr. Joel George of Mission, TX; son, Jeremy and Emily Campbell of Chandler, AZ; son, BJ and Melissa Campbell of Hartsville, TN; son, Nicholas and Cara Campbell of Albuquerque, NM, and Daughter, Amber Campbell of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Gillian, Gavin, Timothy, Leilani, Madison, Annabelle, and Aleesa and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Jan is preceded in death by her father Dr. Charles R. Ward; brother Eddie Ward; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Graveside service will be held at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ on June 17th, 2025 at 9:00 AM.

Pallbearers will be her sons Jeremy, BJ, and Nicholas; grandsons Gavin and Timothy; and nephew Christopher. Flowers are being received at Sunland.
