Bret Robert Harvey

Bret was born on June 17, 1977 in Antigo, WI and lived in Minnesota, Ohio, Texas, Hawaii, California and Arizona as his father pursued a military career. He graduated from Centennial High School in Peoria, AZ, in 1997. He obtained an Honorable Discharge for his Army service between 1997 and 2001. During his time in the Army, he was awarded four Army Achievement Medals while stationed at Fort Knox, KY, Friedburg, Germany and Fort Carson, CO. He also was assigned temporary duty on two occasions to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Bret was well-known for supporting many of his fellow soldiers who were having serious emotional problems. After his Army service he attended DeVry University where he enjoyed his lifetime pursuit of electronics. He also worked as a welder. As in the Army, Bret was always there to help his fellow friends in their time of need.

Bret is survived by his loving parents Dorothy and Robert Harvey and his sisters, Jill and Carolyn, brother-in-law Jeff, and numerous other family members.

Bret was laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, on October 20, 2021.
