Cornell “Bo” Bodell, 88 of Peoria, AZ peacefully passed away into the arms of the Lord on February 8, 2015 with his family near his side. He was born on May 16, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to John and Mary Bodell.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mildred Bodell; four loving children, Susan Dudley, Robin Dircks, Jeffrey Bodell, and Jonathan Bodell; six grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Gregory, Kristina, Madison and Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Alyssa and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters and two brothers. Bo will be dearly missed and forever loved.
Bo was honorably served his country in the United States Navy, Quartermaster 3rd Class, during WW II. He was a graduate of Purdue University, earning his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was the Vice President of Geottl Manufacturing for 14 years. He continued his employment in sales and consulting of air conditioning until retirement.
The Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ. 85352. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunland Mortuary, Sun City, AZ (623) 933-0161.
