Were do I begin? Grandpa you have been my rock my knight in shining armor since I was born! Your love was more than unconditional! I still can't believe your gone. You were such a strong support to me through everything I've been through. No matter what you always made sure I was happy and okay with whatever my situation! When you walked me down the aisle I remember you telling me how proud you were of me and we both shed a tear, wiping each others face. Thanks for not messing up my make-up. I honestly can't say that I have anything but positive memories of you. I know you were sad to leave but sometimes we need to be selfish. No more being tired Grandpa. Rest in Paradise and when we see each other again I expect my bear hug.  I love you more than you will ever imagine. You will always be my number one and I will always be your pooper!

I loved your smile and the way you called me blue eyes. I will never forget it you loved me and I loved you and I still do. I know you will never forget me and I won't forget you. You were the best Great Grandpa ever. I hope you enjoy heaven RIP. Love and miss you again I will never forget you and I will make that a promise!

My favorite memory was when I was little and thought I was drinking wine with grandpa but it turned out to be grape juice. Thanks for all the memories. I love you rest in peace.

The best memory I had with grandpa Dave was the first time he meet me he called me Mickey. I thought it was funny. Rest in Peace!

You've had quite a few handles in your day, all out of love.
I've known you since I was six years old, back then you were Uncle Dave to all of us, Janice, Kenny and I.
I remember all the holidays when you and your friends from the beach would come up to Palmdale with the trunk of your car full of presents.
We would always stop and see you in your bachelor pad in Hermosa Beach whenever we'd go to Disneyland.
You asked my mom to marry you when my Danielle was born. You & Mom bought Danielle her first case of Pampers, boy did I use those sparingly. Lots of memories, like when you bought my daughters their first Easter corsage. You took Vito to get his first flat top haircut, and you let D.J. shot you B.B. gun for the first time. Lots of wine, good food and good times.
So many memories, not enough paper. There's alot of people that were in your life with their own wonderful memories to talk of.
I know you'll have the best garden ever, and if there's a 99 cent store there you really will be in heaven.

I first met "Dave" about 16 years ago in a small town called Hesperia, California.  He was short, very friendly and outgoing. That was my first impression of him after he warmly welcomed me into his home. He told many good stories of his life, his family and his collections. He once said to me (I think this is the correct wording) "If I don't have it, they don't make it" anyways he created his own logo "Dave's Stuff". He was passionate about collecting coins, baseball cards and many other assorted items.
He loved gardening and had a beautiful garden along side his home. He was very proud of it and of its production. A Penn State fan he was ...A lover of sports-but it all came down to Penn State. 
8am on Sundays, Dave and his brothers spoke long distance-every Sunday without fail. This was a grand tradition he had with his family, this kept him up on family matters back in Pennsylvania.
One of many gifts he gave was a good sense of humor. Another was his welcoming of friends and family alike.
"Dave" was my father-in-law, we were only 6 years apart in age.
May God be with you Dave as you now walk with and on the wind.

My father in law, my friend .He was one funny man that captivated my heart and soul,if ever there was a guy that could bring you cheer it was David E. He was never short on wit and always had a kind word from his heart. Love you buddy

Uncle Dave was the kindest, most fun loving man ever. If anyone knew how to have a good time no matter what the situation it was him. We will miss him terribly but will always be the topic that provides the most laughs at a family gathering.
