I can not believe you have been gone for over a year.  Each day I think of you and I miss you dearly.  I know you are watching over all of us, I hear you and feel you so often.  Continue to soar with the eagles dear brother.  I love you and miss you dearly.

Dennis, I lost you forever a year ago today. This has been a rough year but I am getting thru it.  I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! I miss you, you will always have my heart and love.  Life is not the same without my soulmate. No matter where I go, I see and remember things we did together. I am blessed to have so many GOOD memories to remember. It is hard to go forward, I'm taking it a step at a time.  I know we will be reunited again some day.  Thank you for being Whitey's angel. Please watch over us all.  I LOVE YOU!!!

This is our 35th anniversary. I love you more than ever.  I miss you so much. We had a beautiful life together. You will always be my heart and soul.  Everyone misses you dearly.  You do not realize how much you were loved.  Especially by me. Dennis and Char forever.

today is your birthday and I think of each year that we had together. I miss and love you terribly.  We had a lot of great fun as kids and even as adults.

Dennie was my  favorite uncle. He was more then an uncle, he was a brother to my siblng, Rick and myself.  We all grew up together. In all the times around Dennie, I never remember him really being mad and that tells you alot about his personality. I wanted to hang out with the big boys, such as in the garage club  attic, where Rick and Dennie parachuted GI Joes.  Then as a teenager, I wanted to show off my "cool "aunt and uncle.to my friends. I was proud he was my uncle. Another time that makes me smile is when my son Collin said he wanted to be Uncle Dennie for Halloween.  Collin had his pants hanging down with his butt cheeks hanging out. Dennie was  always fun to be around.and he would  give his special smile and  laugh about the thought of that.  I will always think of him riding his Harley or driving his truck. He liked his toys and spending time outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting or riding one of his many motorized vehicles.  When I visited him in October he said to me,  "It all went so fast!"  He worked hard and enjoyed life to the fullest.  He had an amazing strong spirit even at the end of his fight. He will always have a special place in our hearts and taught us to remember to enjoy life and love one another.  We will look up at the stars and think of how Dennie brought love into all our lives.  He is the brightest star in the sky. We want to thank Char for being so strong for him and we all love her dearly. Dennie and Char were sole mates. Dennie could ask  for something from Char without even saying a word. and she know what he wanted. I saw such a special love for Char in Dennis' eyes. Dennie and Char were both fortunate to have each other and Dennie would want Char to continue to be happy, as we all do. We all loved Dennis and will miss him.deeply. He was the eagle in all our lives.

What does one say about such a wonderful person?  You brought love and joy to life.  I am deeply grateful you were such an inspiration to so many.  You and Char showed others what a blessing you had.  One can only be thankful for the time we shared.  You shall be loved and missed for the rest of my life.

I lived across the street from Dennis and Char in Arvada.  We had a great, tight-knit group of friends in that neighborhood.  I always admired the relationship Dennis and Char had.  They were meant for each other, it was just meant to be.  I loved his laugh and his smile.  He came to the rescue one day when he saw me on a ladder outside (7-months pregnant) painting.  My ex was afraid of heights.  Dennis finished the painting.  There were so many things he could do.  He loved his motorcycle. I used to watch him head down the road and his bright yellow Honda.  His yard was probably the best in the neighborhood.  I'll never forget when he yelled and asked who threw the trash in his front yard.....it was our beat up cat everyone called "one-eye."  How we laughed over that. Dennis, I know you're laughing and smiling down on us.  We loved you fiercely and we will watch over Char until you two are together again.  Love you my friend

Char, may you find comfort in the great love you shared. Dennis will be missed by all of us and has left a void that can never be filled.

I will always remember the good times with (D). Like when I was living with you and Char and I was so hung over and we where going up to the mountains to chop fire wood for the winter. Both you and Char had no mercy on me and got my butt out of bed real early in the morning to go do this. I remember D laughing at me the whole time. I will always remember the fun and laughs we all had with you I wish I could have spent more time with you and Char I surely do miss you both. Please watch over all of us. We will see you again some day until then we will miss you!

To my Forever loving husband, you will always know how much I loved you and will always miss you.  You were my heart soul and being.  We had 36 1/2 loving years together, HOW I wish there were 30 more.   You will be forever in my heart.  I will see you again. Rest well my love.

We moved across from Dennis and Char back in 96. I was working in my garage when Dennis came over to introduce himself and welcome us to the neighborhood. We talked for a while and became good friends. Dennis and Char were always there to lend a helping hand. Always remember the good times. Bob, Denise, Dina and Alexis. We will miss you.

To the DeWit family, I often have learned that in times of memorial an opportunity is presented to continue the memory of the loved one.  As I met friends and family of Dennis I could see that they welcomed and expressed his presence in their lives.  My prayer for this family is that is his love for all of you is reflected in remembrance as you honor each other in his memory.
