Dolores Reeves

She was a long-time resident of Sun City West, Arizona and a member of SCW Christian Church where she was baptized in 1994.

After spending most of her youth growing up in Illinois she left for California with her mother and her young son David. She finished high school in Riverside while working various jobs. It was during this time she met Charles Reeves whom she later married in February 1958. Dolore had many jobs throughout her younger years but none as rewarding as her career with Beckman Instruments as a Production Planner from January 1974 until her retirement in 1992.

Dolores sometimes called Dee was born on September 18, 1937 in Mound City, Illinois. She was the 11th of 15 children of Edward and Pearl Mae Boren. All 14 of the her siblings preceded her in death, as well as her husband of 65 years, her youngest son Gregory who passed away in 2007 and her grandson, Army SSG Jason Reeves who died in 2010 in Afghanistan.

Dolores is survived by her two remaining sons, David and Mark as well as a daughter-in-law, Ruthie. She also leaves behind her granddaughter Stacy, great grandchildren Alexis, Tatum and Revin and great-great granddaughter Hazel.

A Funeral Service will be held at Sunland Mortuary Lakeside Chapel, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, AZ., on March 30, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will be held at Sunland Memorial Park Garden of Peace on March 30, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
