Duane Edward Kemp, MSGT USMC (retired), born July 2, 1946, passed suddenly, January 9, 2017. Treasured father of Pamela Ann Vance. Beloved son of the late Lucien Edward Kemp and Leona Tiefenthaler, loving brother of John (Lois) Kemp and Sandra Jean Kemp.
Proud grandfather of Timothy Rudd, Christina and Anthony Fiello, and the late Christopher Rudd. Affectionate step-grandfather of Diane and Danielle Fiello. Great-grandfather of six.
Former husband of Drema C. Phillips, longtime loving companion to Mary Ellen (Arnold) Duffy.
American patriot, 22 years service with the United States Marine Corps, Vietnam Veteran, supporter of Humane Services. Kind and considerate friend to all whose lives he touched.
Burial will take place in Chicago, Illinois.
