Edward Evern Hilton

It is with deepest regret, that we mournfully announce the passing of our beloved Edward (Ed, Eddie) E. Hilton at age 66. After suffering cardiac arrest and fighting an advantageous way to recovery, Edward took his last breath on January 18, 2023. Edward Hilton was born and raised in Southern California. Preceded in death by his parents Warren Sr. and Ruth (Onion), three of his four siblings; Sandra (Monroe), Warren Jr., and Barbara (Bicks); he is survived by his sister Judith (Hubbard) whom he lived with for the past 34 years. As a young boy he was involved in the Boy Scouts and made it his quest to befriend the neighbors and all he encountered. He attended Long Beach City College as an adult and enjoyed long walks. Edward had a beautiful caring soul and while he never married, he lived a full and vibrant life, surrounded by family and friends who loved him dearly. He was a jokester and lived to make people laugh. Some of his collections included: toy boats and antique cars, and of course all his quirky sayings. He was an avid football fan and loved the Arizona Cardinals. During football season you couldn’t pry him away from watching the games. The holidays were some of his favorite times; he enjoyed personally picking out gifts from a gracious heart, as much as he enjoyed opening his own. He was fantastic with numbers and directions and had an astounding memory. If ever his sister Judith needed the details to a story, Ed was right there to fill everyone in. After the passing of both of his parents he was cared for by his older sister Judith and her husband James. Edward moved to El Mirage, Arizona with his older sister Judith (and husband James) in 2004 to live out the remainder of his life. Edward E.
