Ewell E. Parker Jr.

Born in New Mexico to Ewell E. Parker, Sr. and Anna Mae Andrews Parker on July 7, 1934, Ewell led a colorful, full life in Amarillo, Texas and Las Vegas, Nevada before moving to Surprise, Arizona. Ewell was married to the love of his life, Barbara “Bobbie” Parker for nearly 48 years. Together they enjoyed life, including playing Keno in his favorite casino, Arizona Charlies. Ewell was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Sidney Jack Parker. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Barbara Ann Casey and her husband Michael Casey of Southport, North Carolina, his son, Donnie Loerwald and his wife, Kim Loerwald of Peoria, Arizona, his grandchildren Jordan Garday and her husband Adam Garday and their children Cannon, Brecken and Laken Garday of Peoria, Arizona, Dax Loerwald and his wife, Angie Loerwald and their children Jaxon and Presley Loerwald of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Claire Casey of Cary, North Carolina, and Ryan Casey of Wilmington, North Carolina. GP, as his grandchildren called him, always wore his cowboy hat when he was traveling indoors and outside on his motorized scooter. The Texas “He-man” will be missed by those who loved him.
