Frank Ernest Barendt, 99, passed away March 15, 2020. Frank was born on March 11, 1921 in San Jose, California to Frank and Addie (Morrison) Barendt. During World War II, he served as a Communication Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Frank is survived by his wife of 76 years, Lurlyne (Lockwood) Barendt; his sons Lance Barendt of Peoria and Fred Barendt of Phoenix, eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren..
