Geraldine “Gerry” Barlow, age 87, went to be with her Lord on December 16, 2025. Gerry was born on October 8, 1938, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She was raised in a home rooted in faith by her parents, Rev. Clyde and Lucille Rather.
Gary Barlow was the love of her life, and they shared 53 years of marriage before he preceded her in homegoing. Together, they were blessed with two children, Cheryl and Gary Lee.
Gerry is remembered for her remarkable strength and grace, her deep love and devotion to her family, and her steadfast faith in God and His Word. A devoted servant, she loved the church and faithfully gave of herself throughout her life.
She was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, her parents, and her son, Gary Lee, who preceded her in death.
Her family was her greatest joy, and her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law, Chris; daughter-in-law Kim; her seven beloved grandchildren — Chelsea and her husband, Hudson; Brennan and his wife, Valerie; Macy and her husband, Andrew; Emma; Ivy; William; and her late son Gary Lee’s daughter, Megan. She leaves behind seven treasured great-grandchildren: Gianna, Olivia, Titus, Ezra, Weston, Cameron, and Timothy.
She is also remembered by her sister, Linda, and brother-in-law, Larry, along with their family — Lisa, Larry Jr., and their children — who brought her many treasured memories.
A memorial service will be held at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, Arizona, on December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
