Jared was born on April 7, 2002, in Glendale, Arizona, and was a 2020 graduate of Valley Vista High School. At a young age, Jared began to show great talent in music, learning guitar at age 6 and going on to master a variety of other instruments including bass, drums, and piano. Jared often shared his musical talents and his beautiful singing voice by leading worship activities at his church. He also gave of himself through church mission service projects in India and Mexico as well as tribal communities in Arizona.
Jared especially enjoyed being active outdoors, whether playing soccer or going fishing and hunting with his friends. And while his family was in awe of Jared’s many talents, we were even prouder of his big heart and innate goodness. We take comfort knowing that Jared touched so many lives and that his light will never stop shining.
The Qureshi family would like to thank the first responders who provided immediate care for Jared after his accident. We are also grateful for the countless calls, texts, emails, flowers, meals and visits during this devastating time. Those who knew and loved Jared have supported our family immensely through comforting words, stories, and generosity.
Jared is survived by his immediate family: parents Ebenezer and Crystal Qureshi, brother Tyler, and sisters Noelle, Jazlyn, and Nyla. He was adored by his grandparents, aunties, and other extended family in the United States and in India.
Memorial services for Jared will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at Reveal Vineyard, 13015 West Greenway Road, El Mirage, Ariz. Memorial donations (in lieu of flowers) are requested to Hungry for Music and the Lupus Foundation of America.
