John Gerald Schiff, 80, of Peoria, AZ passed away April 23, 2022 with his loving wife, Beverly and daughter, Tracie by his side. John was born on November 9, 1941 in Minot, North Dakota to John and Theresa (Schmidt) Schiff. He was the only son and the youngest of four sisters. He had an impeccable work ethic and was fiercely loyal to everything important to him. Most people who knew him found him to be very kind, caring, loyal and helpful. He had a passion for cars and worked for the Ford Motor Company in Wayne, Michigan for over 30 years. Since 1999, John selflessly volunteered over 15,000 hours to the Westbrook Village Posse serving as Commander twice.
John was predeceased by his son, Derrick, and his parents, John and Theresa Schiff, as well as his twin sisters Kathleen Merck and Madeline Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years. Beverly; his daughter Tracie (Steve) Roberts; and his three grandchildren, Erika, Jessica (Isaiah) Apodaca and Nick. Also surviving are sister Janice (Bruce) Fuhrman and Barbara (Wayne) Kemble.
John was truly loved by his family and will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351 with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am.
