

Joseph Anthony Zeppetella was born in Bai Latina Naples, Italy on February 17, 1946, to his mother and father Oldino and Nuziata Zeppetella. He also was accompanied in life by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. During his young life he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Joseph worked as a pizza maker in his younger days and was known by the family as “the best Pizza Maker”. He went on to obtain a 2-year college education becoming a Tool and Die maker. During his career he worked at Kodakk in Rochester New York after he immigrated to the United States.
Joseph would end up meeting his future wife of 51 years Anna at a party in Rochester. They would go on to live in love with one another the rest of their lives. They immigrated to the United States together and would go on to live a most beautiful life together. They loved to travel, they spent their honeymoon in Bermuda they would travel to California for one week every year and loved the ocean. Joseph and Anna loved to cruise the coast of California via highway 1 from San Diego to San Francisco and would often do this when they could. They would Travel to Italy and then California for many years. They decided to eventually retire and head down to Arizona to enjoy all the beauty the desert has to offer. Anna and Joseph stood by each other through thick and thin and they enjoyed what most of us can only ever hope to have. The companionship of someone who loves us dearly. There love for one another took them all over the world and to the homes of many friends and family.
Joseph enjoyed Music and was a avid attendee at the Italian club in Ventana Lakes retirement community with his wife Anna. He also enjoyed bingo nights, bowling and getting out with his friends. When he met Anna, he learned to love dance and took to it naturally and the two loved to spend time dancing and being the life of the party. Joseph also loved to go to dinner and spending time with his dear Anna.
God so how tired he was, an end was not to be, so he put his arms around me and whispered “Come with Me” leaving his wife of 51 years, 3 older sisters Stephania, Cecilia and Josephine. two brothers Paul and Mario as well as 13 nieces and nephews. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working at rest with God.
Joseph was a deeply loved man who lived a life anyone could look up to and admire. He will be equally missed
A funeral service will occur Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at Sunland Funeral Home, 15826 North Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. A reception to follow will occur Friday, November 22, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 2:15 PM at Sunland Funeral home, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd, Arizona 85351.
