I’m back.... yesterday marked 2 years. These 2 years have been so long without you here Kyle, I wish time could have stopped. I miss that smile, the smile that me, or anyone really could look at and forget that the world ever even sucked. I love you I miss you and ur with me everyday.

Well it’s been a year, and I’m still here. I miss you so much everyday, nothing has changed... ur still my soulmate and I still love you with every bit of me. its been over a month now since all this happen, I want you to know that this has been one of the hardest things I have dealt with in my entire adult life. Your mom is struggling which is normal and you know me, I'm out of patience. I cry by myself because I am a man and try to be strong. Your mom doesn't think I care but I know you know I do. I always expect to see your face pop in the office, I'm sad when it doesn't happen. Be an angel on your mom's shoulder, she needs your help in trying to understand all of this.  I am sorry I wasn't always available for you, it makes me proud to have had the short time with you in my life. Love and miss you!

i keep finding myself asking "why, how and what the hell????" As mad as I want to Be, I find myself thinking of all the beautiful  memories we shared and how many nights of love and days of laughter we had. We truly unconditionally loved each other for what we were and what we had. I held your head so tight and close to mine knowing now that there is now way you couldn't remember how hard I loved you. I had a very comforting dream about you the other night and I do know that you are happy, and in a beautiful place and that I will Ben with you again one day, and until then I will be missing you, and cherishing our memories and waiting my turn. So I’ve been thinking about this all day since your mom sent me the link, trying to find the perfect thing to say or one memory I had with you and I’m starting to realize there isn’t a perfect thing to say or just one memory to choose from you know? Bryson and I have known you and your family for what seems like forever man, from all the times we were kids at Stetson Hills to the parties in high school, or going to the skate park when I didn’t even skate just to kick it with you guys, all the times you guys moved to BFE and back. All the dumb stuff we did or crazy all nighters talking about something wild and random that just kind of opened up my eyes. I don’t know how long I can make this or how I could even chose just one moment so I’ll say this, you were my brothers best friend for years when he felt like he couldn’t be around my family and through the years as we got older and it seemed like both our families just struggled and couldn’t catch a
break you and Terrence were there every bad situation or time when we just needed friends, I’ve worked so hard these past few years to get away from the struggles we had through our teenage years to become a man my friends, family, and future family could be proud of and I wish it didn’t keep me apart from everyone for so long.. I’ll always remember all those years you were more of a brother to Bryson than I was and I’ll spend hopefully the rest of my life doing the same for your family. I’ll miss you man.

He hated his teeth because they weren't straight, and they had been stained from Marlboro red cigarettes, but i loved the way they were imperfectly placed to make up that Kyle smile. A smile you can't buy. A smile you believe when you see, because thier is no faking something that real. When he was laughing or joking around that beautiful happy face would appear, and there is no way anyone could mistake that  for anything less than perfect.  

Kyle and I spent many years side by side and the bond we created and the times we shared were some of the realest and most genuine days of my life. When i think of my favorite memmory with him, a million things flud my brain.  He was effortlessly hilarious and could make you laugh even when you didnt want to. I'll never forget his kind heart. I'll always remember his blue eyes, and I'll forever cherish the moments we spent growing up together. I am so greatful to have met such an amazing person. 

This feels to unreal. It seems just recently we were driving around my old neighborhood causing mischeive throughout the hours of the night. Sitting on roof tops looking at the stars and talking about energy and the universe and what life would be like elsewhere.. strange to know you’re not here to reminisce wild thoughts with. I miss talking all night about whatever came to our minds. I remember a song you dedicated to me 6 years ago in the summer it was Polish Girl by Neon Indian. I never even looked up the words but we would blast it on your speakers. My favorite verse now that I actually understand the lyrics makes so much sense “those idle dreams go back to you the echo’s seem somewhat displaced even further from your face, I’m drifting off to...” I never thought that song would touch my heart as much as it does now. I will forever hold onto your love and friendship. You shaped a part of who I am and I will never forget the sound of your voice. You always knew what to say and your laugh was one of a kind. I have a certain way I talk and my vocabulary that I got from you and it makes me laugh to think where it originated from. I love you with all of my heart and soul Kyle. xoxoo

Kyle D, I never imagined I'd be sitting here attempting to choose a favorite memory we once had shared together. Instead, I imagined us making more, but life did what life does sometimes so here I am laughing at every memory with you; realizing how much joy you brought to my life... Although, being reminded of you brings me pain and sadness, it also brings me so much happiness because you were by far the funniest person I knew.
 We have had so many beautiful and not so beautiful moments together, each one I cherish dearly. One of my favorite memories with you was on my 21st bday. I think it sticks out to me most because you bought me a bottle of champagne to celebrate but ended up drinking the whole thing. Typical Kyle thing to do if you ask me. You spent almost every birthday with me calling me an old lady as each November passed and I think that is super special. I keep catching myself trying to FaceTime you, imagining if you were to answer what silly voice and face you would have ready to make Maizey and I laugh. I'm so lucky you got to be apart of Maize's life even if it was just for a little while. I am going to teach her how to skate for you, I knew how much you wanted to be the one to teach her that. I knew how much you loved her and I'll make sure to tell her everyday knowing you'll be looking down on us. I am so lost with words... trying to form a complete sentence. Still trying to accept that you're not here just breaks me as I'm sure it does many. You were so loved Kyle... And I really hope you knew that. I hope you knew that you would light up a room just by walking into it; the life of the party. I hope you knew that you were one of the smartest humans I knew. I hope you knew how special you were to not only me but so many people...There wasn't one thing you couldn't do and I admired that about you. You were a jack of all trades, master of all. I miss you ky,

Hey kyle... it's me. Bailey. It's so crazy that I'm typing this. The past almost 2 weeks now have been the hardest thing I've ever had to face and deal with in my life... I've lost my best friend and my loving man <3 I have finally found the words that make me feel better. I love you so much, the last few days we spent together we're absolutely amazing... we both agreed that we had to best few days of our lives !!! Moving into our brand new beautiful apartment, getting engaged, buying rings, and just laughing out asses off. I'll always miss u, as things will probably never get easier but I know ur at peace. We always talked about how weird it would be if we weren't together or if we had never met each other and now I know the true meaning of it and it's really super weird just so u know... it still feels like ur just out with ur friends and ur gonna come home soon...I love you kyle you were my first love and the first person to show me a true friendship and a strong love. You always knew the answers to my questions even if your answers were "idk bailey" I will never forget u, and I hope u know I'm gonna have to let you know how it was without u here next time I see you. Its so hard for me to believe that I am writing on this wall right now. Your mom and I love you very much and are still in disbelief. You were well on your way to your future, I was very proud of you I still read your text you sent me the Wednesday before all this tragedy. I love you as so does your mother.
