Maria enjoyed the simple things. The morning missal readings, her coloring books and tea with friends. She enjoyed caring for all the birds that somehow crippled their way to her door, a reflection of her nurturing soul.
Her happiest moments were spent with her beloved family, whom she held at the center of her world. She was the glue that held everyone together, offering unwavering support and love. She is survived by her mother, Noreen Barnett; her husband, Doug; her three children, David, Kimberly, and Stuart; and her grandchildren, Bryce, Zoe, and Mira.
She enjoyed adventures with her loved ones, from RV trips across America, to the emerald beauty of Ireland, and a joyful 25th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. She cherished her dear lifelong friends: Tink Gittings, Anne Cline, and Vivian McLaren. As well as her grandchildren, Bryce, Zoe, Mira and Aubrey.
Maria’s legacy lives on in the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the family she so dearly loved. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever felt.
