Marlene was born in the Bronx in 1950 and attended Evander Childs High School, Class of 1968. She married Alan in 1972 and they lived in Co-op City until 1979 when they moved their family to Levittown, New York. Marlene enjoyed being a bookkeeper for a prestigious law firm on Long Island from 1981-1998. In 1998 Marlene and Alan relocated to the Phoenix area. They share two daughters Lori and Stacey and two sons in law, Anthony and Sean. The most important thing in Marlene’s life was her three grandchildren: Jason, Emily and Shane. She was an amazing dog grandmother. She was an avid reader and created complex needlepoints. Marlene was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer five years ago. She displayed indescribable bravery in the face of brutal treatments and she always kept going. She was a survivor and she was the best mother that anyone could ever hope for.
