Norma J. Gomez, 85 years young, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2016 in Sun City, Arizona after a courageous battle against cancer. She was born on August 17, 1930, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. She loved life, music and dancing. Norma is predeceased by her husband, Juan E. Gomez (January 4, 1990). She is survived by twin daughters, Myrna C. Duffey, and Minerva D. and Dennis L. Albert, Grandchildren: Christopher M. Duffey, Heather L. Wilson, Bethany D. Wellner and Danielle C. McPhail, Great Grandchildren: Dalton J. Kubitski, Kaitlynn L. Duffey, Ashlynn F. Duffey, Breana C. Kubitski, and Charles L.R. McPhail. She had a special place in her heart for her nephew Robert A. Bartell, spouse Sandi, and friend of the family, John S. Engquist. Services are pending in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. A warm thank you to her many friends and neighbors from Sun City Recreational Centers for making the best Celebration of Life party possible.
