Paul E Goins

Paul Everett Goins, 90 of Peoria, AZ passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Freedom Plaza Care Center. Paul was born in Hamilton County, Indiana, June 23, 1920 to Everett and Lola Goins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathryn. Paul is survived by two sisters; Louise (Richard) Buskirk of Sparta, TN and Barbara (Gene) Wood of Newberg, OR. He is also survived by four children; Douglas (Candace) Goins, of Peoria, AZ, Michael (Annajean) Goins of McMinnville, OR, Deborah Johansen of McMinnville, Or and David Goins, of Boise, ID. Paul is survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Paul was dedicated to serving Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He ministered as a Pastor and Evangelist for 48 years, serving churches in Plainview, KS, League City, TX, Westfield, IN, Seattle, WA, Pueblo, CO, Marion, IN and Geenleaf, ID.

Paul and Kathryn moved to Sun City, AZ in 1986 where Paul served as Chaplain at Boswell Hospital until 1991. He joined the pastoral staff at Grace Bible Church in 1991, serving until his retirement in 1999.

Paul was a grateful, loving, caring and humble man to the very end He was respected by so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A public memorial service will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 3pm at Grace Bible Church, 19280 N. 99th Avenue, Sun City, AZ
