To the Willis Family,

Pauline, we will remember your laughing eyes and ready smile always a kind 
word for each of us.  We got to see you and Harry when you would visit our parents, Dorothy and Byrl Shoemaker.  All of you would be talking and laughing for hours, and you spent many hours of travel with them.  May your reunion with all of your love ones be joyous,and their gain will be our loss. Pauline, you came to the milestone events of our lives even when it was two states away.  You were gracious, warm, and loving--always.  I will cherish especially the memory of you and Harry organizing my trip to Chicago in 1984 to secure a quick passport.  You took care of my two year old daughter that day in St. Charles and had so many stories to tell that night, making us laugh as you were so gifted at doing.

I will miss your letters, and I know everyone who loved you will miss your laughter.  My condolences to all the members of your family.

Pauline, George and I loved every trip we made with you and Harry.  They are
a precious memory of our past.  You are now with Harry and my George also. He passed away October 1, 2010.  May God be kind to the three of you.

Mrs. Willis, I grew up next door to you and Mr. Willis in St. Charles, Illinois.  I have the fondest memories of spending much time at your house.  You would let me cook and bake with you, and even put me to work around the house cleaning.  We had many a lunch together!  I enjoyed coming over and visiting with you as often as possible.  I remember Baron and his ability to open and close doors with his mouth.  I loved you and Mr. Willis as if you were my own family!  I will miss you.  My sincerest sympathies to your family at this difficult time.

My dear Pauline, I just heard that you went to Heaven and I know how happy you are to be with our precious Lord and reunited with your precious Harry.  Please know you will be missed so much here in Pine Lakes.  You were such a shining light....always so positive and I will miss you so much.  However, I know I will see you in Heaven when our Lord calls me home, too.  Joyce Wilson
