Randall Scott Isham, best known as Randy, The Iceman, Randizzle, Mr. Gabagool, Brother, Dad, and Papa, was born on February 4, 1972, in Phoenix, Arizona. From the very beginning, Randy’s life was rooted in strong family bonds, faith, and community. He was raised as a Jehovah’s Witnesses, growing up in the Kingdom Hall alongside his mother, family, and close friends. During his youth, he traveled across the United States with his mother and friends, creating long lasting memories he often shared. In a family where his father and most his brothers were true cowboys through and through, his love of country music came natural to him. Randy had a toughness about him that showed in everything he did, evident in the way he lived, worked, and approached life. Randy also had a lifelong passion for baseball starting in Little League and continuing through high school. To date, he thoroughly enjoyed watching Little League baseball and girls’ softball.
At just 15 years old, while playing baseball, Randy met the love of his life, Audie. At only 18 years old, Randy welcomed his first daughter, Brittany, into the world, marking the beginning of the role he cherished most—being a father. At the same time, Randy began his career in construction and entered the drywall trade, working alongside his brother Andy. With determination, grit, and an unmatched work ethic, he honed his craft and found his place in the industry. After more than a decade of experience, he launched Isham’s Drywall in 2003. That same year, his second daughter, Adriana, was born, followed shortly by his third, Randilyn. His company and his family grew together, hand in hand. What began as a two-person show—Randy and Audie—has now become one of the most reputable drywall companies in Arizona. Over the last 22 years, Isham’s Drywall has become a trusted trade partner to the top builders in the state. Randy’s influence and leadership helped change and shape the drywall industry. As one colleague put it, “his kindness, dedication, and genuine spirit left an impression on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.”
Beyond his skills, his humor and ability to make people laugh left an imprint on all who met him. Every ounce of determination, every sacrifice, and every bit of sweat and effort went into building a foundation for “his girls.” He never missed an opportunity to tell his daughters how much he loved them and how proud he was of them. Later in life, he was blessed with two grandsons, Camden and Jaxton, who brought him immeasurable joy. He often said, “Papa loves you more than anything,” and he meant it with all his heart. Randy’s legacy is one of hard work, love, laughter, and family. The business he built, the lessons he passed down, and the stories he left behind will carry on for generations.
He is survived by his wife Aurelia (Audie); daughters Brittany, Adriana, and Randilyn; his son-in-law Malcolm; his grandsons Camden and Jaxton; his mother Dorothy; sisters Diane and Cynthia; and his beloved dog Wally (“Wally boy”). Randy is preceded in death by his father George and his brothers Gary, Terry, and Lewis (Andy).
