Richard Wendell Kunst left to meet his Maker on 6/4/2020 after months of declining health. He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on 4/21/1933, the son of Richard and Rosemary Major Kunst. He is survived by his children, Kirsten (Chris) Hall, Christopher, and Curtis (Melissa), and grandchildren Colin, Jessica, Samantha, Garrett and Kyle. Long-time companion Susan Krueger also survives. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and his inventive mind was evident in his career in engineering. Late in life he enjoyed making wooden toys for underprivileged children and keeping fit. He was predeceased by his parents, son Jeffery and cousin Allen. Many will miss his quips and ready smiles.
