I first met Bob when I got my dog Buster.  Daily we walked on Conquistador Drive and would pass Bob's house.  He was out in his backyard one day and we greeted each other.  We struck up a conversation and developed a casual friendship.  During my dog walks I would see Bob a few times each week.  He would be working out in the yard and each time we saw each other we spoke.  The conversations covered many topics and included a lot of laughter.  I hadn't seen Bob for quite a while and figured he had gone to Georgia to get out of the Arizona heat.  A few days ago while walking Buster I saw some people at his house.  I walked over to the house and met Bob's children.  They told me that Bob had passed.  I want them to know that the Bob I knew was friendly, funny, and a good guy. The last time I remember seeing him was when he pulled up in front of me in his golf cart.  He was smiling and chuckling because he had surprised me.  His golf cart looked like a small car and we both thought it was really cool. Of course, we took time to talk about other topics. He was in a really good mood and it was a fun conversation.  Our relationship consisted of a friendship based on occasional meetings but we managed to share a lot.  Bob was a good man and a good talker.  We talked about his wife, his children, Georgia, politics, yard work, dogs, living in Sun City West, and anything else we felt like discussing.  Sometimes the conversations were very heartfelt and other times they were very heated.  Whatever the topic we both enjoyed the conversation and I will miss them.  Bob,I hope you find peace and joy in Heaven and warmth in the arms of your loving wife.  Your friend, Debby.
