Born on July 22, 1940, in Phoenix, Arizona, Ronald devoted his life to service, family, and faith. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, he carried his sense of duty into civilian life, serving as a fireman for twenty years and later as a Deputy State Fire Marshal for eighteen more. His dedication helped protect countless lives, and his commitment to public safety left a lasting mark on those he worked alongside.
Ronald was a man of deep faith, rooted in his church community and guided by strong spiritual convictions. He found joy and purpose in genealogy, spending countless hours tracing the threads of family history and preserving the legacy of those who came before him. It was a true passion and one he loved sharing with others.
An avid outdoorsman, Ronald had a zest for life that was evident in the many hobbies he embraced through the years—camping beneath the stars, casting a fishing line in quiet waters, hunting, practicing archery, and boating. He cherished the simplicity and beauty of nature, and found peace in its presence.
Above all, Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife Ruby; daughter Renee (Robert); son Ronald II (Lene); foster son Michael (Fawna); four grandchildren—Crystal, Ronald III, Raymond (Elise), and Thomas—and one precious great-granddaughter, Reagan. His love for his family was boundless, and his legacy lives on in their hearts.
