

She was born on November 2nd, 1953, in San Salvador, El Salvador where she grew up among her family and friends until she moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1972.
In her early years in El Salvador, she worked within her community as a secretary. After becoming a mother, Ana found an interest in healthcare. She worked as a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant for many years caring for those that needed additional support and love.
Ana loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed the era of disco techs, all things musical, dancing, times that brought people together, food, and of course, a beautiful day spent on a beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jorge Astacio & Sara Martínez de Astacio, and her eldest brother Jorge Astacio Jr.
Ana Cecilia is survived by her daughter Michelle Deering-Rouse, son-in-law Roger Rouse, and granddaughters Sierra Rouse, and Grace Rouse.
Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone for the care and compassion that has been extended to our family during this difficult time. Your words, actions, and kindness will forever touch our hearts.
A celebration of life and mass will be held in honor of Ana Cecilia Deering. The family will extend invitations at later date.
