Anthony James Laffranchi – "Tony" to all his family and friends – was born on January 24, 1957, in Daly City, CA. He passed away on November 28, 2025, surrounded by family in Surprise, AZ. Tony was a Journeyman Machinist, having completed both a traditional apprenticeship and also a collegiate Machine Tool Technology Program. Being a machinist took him and his family to Washington State, where he spent most of his career working for the Boeing Company until his retirement in 2018. His hobbies included Ford Mustangs (of which he cycled through several over the years and belonged to many clubs), Mustang car shows, cheering for the San Francisco Forty Niners, and listening to the Beach Boys. His family was his most important passion, though. Tony loved people and cultivated a lifelong habit of showing up to help whenever and wherever he was needed. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Christina Laffranchi, his sons David and Gregory Laffranchi, his "daughter-in-love" Natalie Laffranchi, and his two precious grandsons Titus and Felix Laffranchi.
To all his friends and family – he loved you very much. He will be greatly missed by us all.
