HANSEN, David Michael

After a 3 1/2 year battle with Frontotemporal Dementia/PPA, David Hansen left his earthly vessel peacefully on May 1, 2021.

Dave was born in Ravenna Ohio. Then, as an adult, he relocated to the West Valley in Phoenix AZ. This is where he met his wife, Consuelo. They were together for 30 years, and raised an amazing son, while also helping to raise other family members along the way. They built a home that cultivated love and joy, and built timeless love together. She was his Yin and he was her Yang.

Dave was an incredible Toolmaker. He used his talent to open his own shop in the West Valley, making him a successful entrepreneur. His hobbies included date nights with his wife, watching sports (Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks and the Phoenix Suns) with his son, playing with his grandsons, and Jeep Rock Crawling.

Dave is survived by his wife, Consuelo Hansen; his son, Alex Bandin; his daughter-in-law, Jaqueline Galban Bandin; his grandsons, Michael Anthony and Kai Alexander; his mother Meralee Sellers; his sister, Debbie Hansen; and his brother, Larry Hansen.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Hansen; and his sister Susan Meyer.

He will be missed terribly.

One of the coolest guys I’ve met over my handful of decades in the Jeep world. It was a privilege to have met David and got to enjoy Easter Jeep Safari and countless other Offroad events with him. You will be missed my friend. Until we wheel again. Godspeed!
