Dominick J. Ferri

Cherished son of the late Giuseppe and Ninetta Pignatelli Ferri.

Survived by his loving wife Diane Bartholomay Ferri, caring father of Joseph (Frankie) and Richard (Sandi) Ferri. Proud Papa to his precious granddaughter Nina Carmella Ferri. Fond brother of Angie (Louie), Miranda, and Ralph (Myra) Ferri. Caring son-in-law to Vivian (late Richard) Bartholomay. Brother-in-law to Richard (Norma) Bartholomay and the late Craig Bartholomay. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews and fond cousin to many.

Dominick came from Italy arriving with his mother and sister at the port of New York on January 7, 1955 when he was almost four years old. He was raised by his parents in Chicago on the east side of Taylor Street.

He was a proud student of Lane Tech High School, and also a retired truck driver and Steward of Local 705, I.B. of T.

Some of Dominick’s pleasures were golfing weekly with his golf buddies, golfing with his wife, sons, granddaughter, and daughters-in-law. Getting together with family and friends was one of the things he loved the most.

He will be truly missed by his family and many that crossed his path. His journey is not over yet, we will all cross his path again. Until then you will always be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. We know you will always be with us in spirit.

A private family visitation for Dominick will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 9:30 AM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374, followed by a visitation from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
