Donald Lee Sobeski

Don grew up in Bronson, Michigan, the oldest of 4 children.

He married his high school sweetheart Carol Pearce in 1957 and soon they moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. Don was a highly regarded plastic mold maker throughout his career.

An avid sports enthusiast, Don played basketball and baseball in high school and was a lifelong golfer. He also loved to cheer for the Michigan Wolverines!

After living in Michigan and raising three kids, Don and Carol relocated 'South' to Greensboro, NC, for 20 years and then to Surprise, AZ to play golf year-round! He even became a Bocce champion in Sun City Grand!

They enjoyed playing cards as a family and with their neighborhood card group.

Don, a lifelong Catholic was active as an usher at St. Monica Church and always willing to help anyone.

He had a quiet sense of humor and when you didn't expect it, he would crack you up with a quick one-liner!

Don is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Carol, children Debbie (Craig) Kistler, Wendy Sobeski, Darrell (Alexis) Sobeski and grandchildren Sarah Kistler, Preston and Lilith Sobeski, his sister Linda Parshall, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held.
