John William Swane

John, being influenced and fascinated with his father’s career in the Navy, joined as well when he was 18 years old. He was an On-line Maintenance Technician for over 20+ years and was very proud of his service. He retired in 1999 when he was last stationed near Lemoore, California. He and his wife Catriona lived in several states before making their final move to Surprise, Arizona. They have resided there for the past 22 years.

John is survived by his wife Catriona of Surprise, AZ; one brother: Gary Swane of Shoreham, NY; three sisters: Eileen and husband Gary Kowalski of Jamison, PA; Kelly and husband Miro Kamenik of Doylestown, PA and Alicia and husband Raymond Scott of Rye, NY. In addition, he is survived by nephews: Jonathan and Brian Swane, David and Michael Kowalski, Matthew and Brian Scott, and nieces: Melissa Kowalski, Natalie Kamenik and Katlyn Scott.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Frank Swane; Mother, Mary Fante Swane; his younger Brother, Brian Swane and Sister-in-law Carol Swane.

A private Military memorial service is pending at the Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
