Judith Ann Baer

Judith Baer entered Heaven on February 7, 2024. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Judi was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and spent the last 20 plus years in Surprise, AZ.

Judi was happily married to the love of her life, Bill, for 53 years. In fact, in one last act of taking care of others, she held onto life an extra day to celebrate their anniversary. She was the proud mother of Janae, Jill & Jason. She was also the proud grandmother of Nate, Zach, Sam, Carson, Caden, Sidney & Mallory. Judi would tell you her biggest blessing was having nearly all of her family with her in AZ the last 22 years. Judi was extremely happy with the fact that all three of her kids were happily married and she had great relationships with Rob, Craig & Carin. Additionally, she would let you know that she shared an incredible bond and friendship with her sister Lynn over the past 70 years.

Judi was a nurse for 45 years. She was proud of this and felt blessed to be able to help thousands of people who needed it. Judi fed her soul by helping others.

If you had the privilege and good fortune of knowing Judi for a long time or even a brief moment, chances are she asked you a thousand questions, gave you an enormous hug, tried to feed you, made sure you understood the importance of dancing at any opportunity and wanted to know how she could help you.

She is no doubt in heaven right now looking down at all of us with her toes in the ocean, country music playing, sipping a gin & tonic, eating a roll with way too much butter, surrounded by sunflowers and trying to figure out who she can help next.

We love you dearly Judi and want to thank you for the time we had with you. God Bless and enjoy your new adventure. Give Walter and Loretta a big hug.

In honor of her wishes, there will be no memorial service. We simply ask you to celebrate Judi however, you would like and keep her in your heart. In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to her favorite charity; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
