Lahoma Virginia Jones

Lahoma V. Jones peacefully passed away in her home in Surprise, Arizona. She is survived by her son Rick and his wife Mary Jane; granddaughter, Nicki, and her husband Frank; and grandson, Chris.

Dear Lord, we commend her to your care with the following disclaimer/caveats:

1. Do not use the “F” word, EVER!

2. If ear boxing is a competitive sport, the smart money is on Lahoma.

3. Avoid any confrontation with her that may result in you being “snatched bald-headed”.

4. Should you be unsure of anything, just check with her and she will gladly and most enthusiastically “tell you a lesson”

5. Should you choose to disregard the “lesson” be prepared to receive your first of many “what fors”.

6. Keep the “fart-jokes” to a minimum, but if you really want a laugh, put sport peppers on her hot dog (while maintaining a safe distance...just a helpful hint)

7. Friday nights should be reserved for watching David Bromstad, and the rest of the week is for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy; turn the volume ALL.THE.WAY.UP. (Lord, did I mention she is hard of hearing?)

8. When turning water into wine, her preference is Moscato... just saying.

9. Lord please try to not tick her off.

10. In closing, she comes to you with an iron-clad guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied, we will happily accept a return, no questions asked. Prepaid shipping is not included.

A Memorial Service for Lahoma will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, Arizona 85374.
