Louis C. Gennaro

Louis was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Karl and Fay Gennaro. He served in the U.S. Navy as a aircraft engine mechanic. He loved hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and anything outdoors. He loved playing pinochle(the card game) and any reason to gather with all of his extended family. As a ordained minister he was very involved in Cops for Christ, Teen Challenge and

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gennaro and granddaughter, Brianna Hiles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Adel Gennaro; children, Louis C. Gennaro Jr. and wife, Kimberly, Carol A. Gennaro, and Daniel JA Gennaro and wife, Claudia; grandchildren, Jennifer Tallman, Daniel Gager, Alisha Kelley, Emily Gennaro, Garret Garvin, Ian Garvin, Daniel Gennaro, Nicholas Gennaro, Anthony Gennaro, and Vincent Gennaro; siblings, Maryann Loria, Frank Gennaro, and Joseph Lizzio; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 4-5:30 PM Monday, January 10, 2022 at Surprise Funeral Care with a service to start at 5:30 PM.
