Steven John Sepiol

Steven John Sepiol, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on February 27, 1946, Steven was a resident of Surprise, Arizona. He was known for his kind-hearted nature and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Steven's early life and education laid the foundation for a life of accomplishment and service. He graduated from Cameron County High School in the Class of 1964. Pursuing higher education, he obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1968, followed by an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1969.

In a distinguished career, Steven worked for UOP LLC in Des Plaines, Illinois, dedicating 34 years and 7 months to the company. His work took him around the world, including a year in Saudi Arabia and six months in Indonesia. He also provided consulting services to refineries in Canada and spent over 20 years offering technical advice in South Africa.

Steven married Barbara in 1984, and they enjoyed 41 years of marriage. He is survived by cousins and other family members in Pennsylvania and Texas.

Outside of his professional life, Steven had a passion for sports. He was an active participant in the UOP Bowling League and enjoyed playing tennis and golf during his retirement years. His love for travel was evident in his fondness for vacations and cruises.

Steven John Sepiol will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
