Mom nursed for many years at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Her care and compassion for people inspired her to co-found the Surrey Hospice Society as well as being a facilitator with the Living with Cancer Support group. She was an avid traveller who enjoyed exploring many parts of the world with family and friends. Mom also loved hiking and camping in B.C. Parks. She will be dearly missed.
Thanks to the nurses and staff of Cherington Place for their kindness and care of our mother. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the David Suzuki Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada. No service by request.
