

Antonina Betita Cudilla Dalisay was born in Estancia, Iloilo, Philippines on October 9, 1929. Her parents were Concepcion Argos Betita Cudilla and Agustin Yulores Cudilla. Antonina came from a family of five children, three of whom survived. She had an older sister Nenette and a younger brother Agustin Jr.
Antonina graduated from Provincial High School in Iloilo in 1949. She graduated from Colegio de Sagrado in Iloilo in 1952 with a Secretarial Diploma and a BSE (Bachelor of Science in Education).
Antonina worked as a secretary for Phillip Morris Company in Iloilo. She also taught third grade in Davao City.
On March 3, 1953 Antonina met Jose Dalisay and on April 23, 1953 they married in Estancia. On November 1, 1956 their son Jose Jr. was born. In 1966 the family of three moved to Canada (Corner Brook, Newfoundland).
On March 8, 1968 their daughter Jo Ann was born and on March 30, 1969 their daughter Joni Mae was born. While in Corner Brook, Antonina was a busy mother, homemaker and seamstress.
She and Jose moved to White Rock, British Columbia in 1996 before the birth of their first grandchild. Antonina and Jose enjoyed their retirement travelling and spending time with their 5 grandchildren: Jarryd, Donovan, Alyssa, Malia and Olivia.
Antonina passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 2, 2011 at the hospice of Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC.
The Memorial Service of Antonina Betita Cudilla Dalisay was held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11 am.
Pastor Levi Estores provided the sermon and prayers.
Tributes were made by Antonina's husband Jose Dalisay, her daughter Jo Ann C. Dalisay and her sister-in-law Carmen Dalisay Valdez (unable to attend so read by Antonina's son, Jose Dalisay, Jr.)
Music in the service was provided by Antonina's daughter Joni Moore (flute), her daughter Jo Ann C. Dalisay (piano), her grandson Jarryd Moore (voice), her sister in law Esther Dalisay Pacamalan (voice), family friend Noel Abuel (voice) and family friend Esther Estores (voice).
Pallbearers were son Jose Dalisay Jr., grandson Jarryd Moore, grandson Donovan Moore, nephew Edgardo Dalisay, nephew Ben Dalisay, Jr., son-in-law Derrick Moore and son-in-law Ian Brodie.
