He lived a long and full life. Arie was born in Amsterdam, and with his beloved wife Dorothea, came to Canada after World War II. He was a well-respected mechanical engineer and is well-known for his ingenious, practical designs. We remember him especially for his spirit, sense of humour, and genuine concern for the well-being of others.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothea (2010).
He is survived by his sister Minke Banen-Bos (Amsterdam); his son Menno (Rosemary); daughter Selma Kuchmak (Steve) and grandsons Timothy and Kevin.
He is dearly loved and missed by family and friends.
