Barbara passed away from cancer at Chilliwack hospital. She is survived by her two children Karen (Barry) and Sandy (Dave); her sister Joyce, her grandchildren Sara, Izaak, and Max.
"G-Nana" will be missed by her great grandchildren Wynter, Cierra, and Madison. Her extended family Jody and Melissa, her special nieces Susan and Shelley, and many friends and family will miss her strength, kind heart, and good humour.
At Barbara's request there will be no service, visitation, or ceremony at her ash scattering.
