Oh Bita, I'm so terribly sad to read of your passing. Mom (Gina) and I had the pleasure of meeting Bita during her dialysis treatments at Surrey Memorial Hospital. She always offered advice about treatment after having it done for so long herself. She fought through so many health challenges and we admired her internal strength to get up every day and do what she needed to do!

Bita spoke so proudly of her son. We always hoped to have the chance to meet him one day. She was proud of his work ethic and his attentive care. She was most pleased once she was "back home" at SMH so he was close by and wouldn't need to travel so far to visit her. She loved you so much. 

When I last saw Bita she had just undergone another medical procedure and had high hopes that it would end some of her pain. It's heartbreaking to know we will not see her again but will keep her in my thoughts. Rest easy, Bita. (Many of her friends at dialysis are not on the internet so I'd also like to express their condolences on the loss of this beautiful woman).
