September 25 1936 – September 14 2015
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Carol Jean Kostiuk. She is predeceased by her son Jeff and brother Jack. Jean is survived by her husband Ted, her daughter Robyn (Fernando) and her precious grand daughters Amanda and Meagan. She is also survived by her siblings Viv and Jim (Mary).
Jean graduated nursing school and RCH in New Westminster. Jean and Ted married on September 13 1958, one week after she became a registered nurse. They resided in Surrey together for 57 years. Jean continued to attend her elementary school reunions as well as her nursing school reunions, where she enjoyed man y cherished friendships.
Jean will be remembered for her love for her family and friends. Her compassionate, caring and social personality will be missed by all who knew her. The angels took her home on September 14 2015 peacefully in her sleep. There will be no service at the request of Jean.
