On Tuesday February 20, 2024, just shy of her 100th birthday, we lost a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a kind and gentle soul who always put everyone else’s needs before her own. She will be dearly missed by her children Byron (Cathy), Morris (Celia) and Ross as well as her grandchildren Robyn (Paul) and Megan (Jared) as well as many nieces and nephews. Her five great grandchildren Owain, Elin, Ioan, Stella and Liam will miss her warmth and unconditional love. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories and will always be in our hearts.
Carole grew up in Alberta, moving to North Vancouver after World War 2 where she met and married her husband, Loyd. Together they raised their 3 boys there until relocating to Delta in the late ‘70s. She spent her last years at Guildford Seniors Village and we would like to thank the wonderful staff there for taking care of her and keeping her safe and comfortable to the end.
Never one who enjoyed being the centre of attention, Carole has requested that we not have a service.
