It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our treasured daughter, Chelsie Dawn Ricci on June 27, at the age of 49.

Chelsie brought immeasurable love, joy, and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her beautiful smile, kind heart, and caring spirit touched countless people. She had a gift for making others feel seen, loved, and valued, and her laughter could brighten even the darkest days.

She was a cherished daughter, a loving sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and a loyal friend. Whether through her compassion, her sense of humor, or her unwavering support, she left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her impact in the soccer and athletic world is still talked about today.

Though her time with us was far too short, the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever. We will remember her for her strength, her generosity, her dreams, her leadership and the unconditional love she shared so freely.

She is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Mary Ann, brother Shane, sister in law Xavier, niece Isla, brother Brock and nephew Matteo, who will forever cherish her memory.

A celebration of Chelsie’s s life will be held on July 29 at 11am at Good Shepherd Parish in 2250 150 St., South Surrey. A reception will follow ar Star of the Sea Hall 15262 Pacific Ave., White Rock, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable person she was.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be performed in her honor—something she did so naturally throughout her life.

Our beloved daughter will be deeply missed every day, but her love will remain with us always. Though she is no longer by our side, she will forever be in our hearts.
