My sister and I were fortunate enough to have Cor in our lives and throughout our childhood though he was always "Opa" to us. He even had us trained to make him his coffee whenever we visited him! I will always cherish his patience and support whether he was teaching us ukulele or helping with homework. He will be forever missed. My deepest condolences and aloha go out to the de Baat family.

Dear Josie, I was so sorry to hear of Cor's passing.  My deepest condolences to you and your family.  The Celebration of Life was lovely. It brought back many memories of our times together.  Cor is dancing with Martha tonight.

When I was younger, Sunday mornings was a regular practice day at the De Baat residence. Dance in the morning and uke practice after. Cor led the uke practice.  Having patience to deal with all these girls we will never know!  I admire him showing his passion every week teaching ! 
And what a hard working man he was making all our accessories for dance and especially our beautiful Tahitian hats!!  What great memories I have of him!

Although I haven't seen them in the past few years I'm honored to know Cor & Josie! They taught me a lot as a little child and has stayed with me into adulthood! 

RIP Cor  you will be greatly missed!
