

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of David Andrew Clegg, of Tsawwassen, BC, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
David was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 25, 1939. He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and Prince Rupert, BC, before making his home in the Lower Mainland.
David was a teacher by profession and by nature. He taught elementary school in Surrey, BC, for 32 years, touching the lives of generations of students with his dedication and care.
He was also proud of his years fishing halibut in the Gulf of Alaska, an experience he enjoyed for 10 years and remembered with pride.
David found great pleasure in the simple things in life. He loved listening to jazz, reading, and challenging himself with the New York Times crossword puzzle. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.
David will be lovingly remembered by his children Christopher, Gillian and Alexander Clegg; his grandchildren Logan Clegg, Alistair and Graham Young, and Ashleigh Clegg; his companion, Pauline Fisher; Darci Robson and Elisa Robson-Brown, and Colleen Bloomfield.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 17th at 10:00 am at Tsawwassen Springs, #100 – 5133 Springs Blvd., Delta, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him
