He was survived by Sharon Flatt; his loving partner of 25 years; his brother Guy (Jennifer) and his sister Laura Jones
David was born on August 13, 1963, in Vancouver, BC. He worked at various hotels; including Banff Springs Hotel and then when Chateau Whistler opened he transferred there. Then in 1998 he went back to Alberta and worked at Chateau Lake Louise. In 2008 he and Sharon purchased their home in Surrey, BC and that is where they still reside.
David loved to fish, do photography and check out local Casinos. He was a kind and gentle soul and he will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors
