Duncan made me an Auntie, thus he was on the receiving end of my maternal instincts as a young child. His Mom and Dad, generously allowed me to tote him around, whether it be to a friend's, shopping, or my work place, you name it, I loved having my little Dunclin by my side!

Duncan was very spiritual. I recall clearly how at the tender age of six, he launched into a conversation about GrandmaGG (his Great Grandma) and how she was in Heaven. He was full of empathy too, as he noted how GrandpaGG was now alone here on earth, and how sad it must be for him to be without GrandmaGG. Years later, after GrandpaGG passed away, Duncan (then 13 years old) talked about God, Heaven, and where those who have passed before us are. It was a beautiful conversation. Duncan's insight was truly touching.

Duncan's young cousins, Barret and Lyndey, will forever miss their Big Cousin. He was so joyful, playful, and caring towards them, in return, the kids cherished him with all their hearts. They always excitedly anticipated when they would see him next!

Over the years we all change somewhat, our core being endures the many stresses and pressures life puts upon us. It is such a comfort to know that Duncan, no matter what life threw at him, was the same Duncan that came into this world 23 years ago! The same sweet, spiritual being, that brought joy to many, many people and left this world a much better place for his being here.

There are no words to express our sadness and shock, that on this earth, we will never see Duncan again. We are though confident that he is still with us "in his own way" as a Guardian Angel, and upon going to Heaven was greeted by those who love him, and passed away before him. As Barret describes.... it was like a Birthday Party when Duncan got to Heaven.

There are so many wonderful memories of Duncan as he grew and changed into the kind, compassionate man he became. It is difficult now to know that his journey has ended. It is with love in our hearts that we remember and grieve our loss . Love always, Duncan .Peace be with you

I remember growing up playing baseball with you Duncan , we we're teammates and my dad was our coach . I remember how fast you were and everyone called you crazy legs, but the one thing I won't ever forget is how you were always smiling no matter what the situation. I will miss you and cherish the memories we had together. Until we meet again.
